Meet Our Team
Experienced intervention practitioners supporting engagement, behaviour, and positive progression for young people.
The Music Klub is delivered by a dedicated team of Creative Intervention Practitioners and Support Staff who specialise in using music-based, relational approaches to support behaviour, engagement, and emotional development in children and young people.
Our team brings together experience in SEMH, ASN support, youth mentoring, education, and creative practice, working collaboratively to deliver structured intervention programmes that help young people overcome barriers to learning and re-engage with education, training, and positive pathways.

Richard Aikins
A visionary music producer with a lifelong passion for sound, Richard has built a career spanning both the commercial music industry and youth development. He has worked with and produced for artists including Stormzy, Ray J, K Koke, and Jess Glynne and has also completed remixes for global acts such as Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, and Ella Eyre. This experience has grounded his practice in high-level production while maintaining a strong connection to authentic, grassroots music culture.
Alongside his studio career, Richard developed extensive experience working with young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND/ASN). Through work in schools and alternative provision settings, he identified a consistent gap in engagement for learners who were often excluded or underserved by traditional education systems.
This directly led to the creation of The Music Klub, established to provide a structured, music-led environment where young people can engage creatively, build confidence, and develop emotional regulation skills. The organisation uses music production, songwriting, and studio-based learning as tools to re-engage learners and support personal development.
